BuCor dismantles kubols, seizes firearms in Bilibid raid

Authorities dismantled “kubols” (small huts) inside the Maximum Security Compound of the New Bilibid Prisons (NBP) in a raid conducted early morning Wednesday.

The operation is part of “Oplan Galugad” to rid the national penitentiary of illegal activities and prohibited items.

Aside from dismantling of kubols, authorities seized firearms, VHF radio units, appliances, mobile phones and fighting cocks.

The raid which started at 5 a.m. was conducted at Building 6-B of the Maximum Security Compound.

The Bureau of Corrections has been continuously conducting a series of raids inside the NBP. RAM
