THE CEBU Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. basketball tournament holds its All-Star Festivities this Sunday at the Cebu Coliseum.
The juniors light squad will be spearheaded by Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu stalwarts Henry Asilum, Julius Cadavis, Dawn Ochea, Dave Yu and Maverick Suarez. They will be joined by the University of Southern Philippines Foundation’s Rommel Diapera, Winston Bolivar, Fernando Abapo and Edwin Villarta, The University of San Jose-Recoletos’ Ricky Cuyos, Roland Hermosilla and Karl Viajar and the Cebu Institute of Technology-University’s Nikko Otadoy, Jerald Delima and Mark Kong.
Playing on the dark squad are the University of the Visayas’ Nelson Peralta, Reeve Ugsang, Dexter Lucero, Paul Desiderio and Lendil Undaloc, Cebu Eastern College’s Lyle Sumayang, Luther Huevos, Marvin Bauya, Alfred Sedillo and Rex Villarosa, the University of San Carlos’ Ian Ortega and Mark Anderson, Don Bosco’s Marlo Pono and Stephen Nierre and the University of Cebu’s Kent Trangia.
The college light team is composed of UC’s Junemar Fajardo, Edward Pao, Luigi Bercede and Brian Heruela, USC’s Cid Cortes, Sam Hermosa, Mike Cantonao and Giovanni Padillo, USJ-R’s Abulaiz Suliman, Renato Abing, Medjet dela Rama and Jayson Olbedado and CIT-U’s Chester Curso, Jose Dimco and Floyd Taboada.
Opposing them will be the dark team’s Harold Cincoflores, Edrian Lao, Jerome Silva, John Abad and Phil Mercader, SWU’s Eleazar Armecin, Justin Aboude, Rene Pacquiao, Monbert Arong and Joseph Nalos and USPF’s Randy Avila, Fritz Dajalos, James Ferraren, Joseph Sedurifa and Mil Linao. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
