Two suspected robbers killed in Bulacan
CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS—Two suspected robbers were killed in a shoot-out with Bulacan police in Marilao, Bulacan, on Monday morning.
The unidentified suspects were caught at 2 a.m. as they attempted to break into a house in Marilao’s Liyas village with a third accomplice, said Senior Supt. Ferdinand Divina, Bulacan police director.
He said a team of patrolmen exchanged fire with the suspects, killing two of them as they attempted to flee the crime scene. The third suspect eluded arrest.
The police recovered a.38-cal. pistol and ammunition from the slain suspects.
One of the dead suspects bore a tattoo that spells out the word, “Sputnik.”
Their bodies were brought to the Flavel Funeral Parlor in Bocaue town for autopsy.
