A FETUS was almost shredded at a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Monday morning.

Carlito Berame, an MRF worker, called for police assistance after he discovered a fetus wrapped inside a white plastic bag.

Berame told police that he was about to place a plastic bag in the shredder when he noticed that it was bulky and sealed even after it went through the segragation process in barangay Pusok. He opened the plastic bag and found the fetus.
