Cabanatuan City under state of calamity; 1 fatality reported

CABANATUAN CITY—Mayor Julius Cesar Vergara said the city has been placed under a state of calamity due to massive floods that affected the city.

Major roads here and in other parts of Nueva Ecija are currently impassable for light vehicles due to floods.

There was one fatality reported. Abraham Lazo, a 28-year old city resident, died from drowning on Wednesday. RAM
