LINGAYEN, Pangasinan—A housewife was killed by her husband, who was playing a game of Russian roulette at 8 p.m. on Sunday in this province’s Binalonan town.

Merilyn Romero, 27, died when her husband Jeffrey, 31, pointed a .38 caliber pistol at her head and squeezed the trigger inside their house in Barangay (village) Sta. Catalina, police said on Monday.

Russian roulette is an illegal game of chance.

The game requires a player to load a single bullet in the chamber of a revolver, which he aims at his head after he spins the revolver’s cylinder.
