Classes in all levels suspended on Monday in Northern Samar

CATARMAN, Northern Samar — Northern Samar Gov. Jose Ong Jr. has declared a suspension of classes in all levels on Monday due to typhoon “Nona.”

The announcement was coursed through Provincial Administrator Efren Sabong after Northern Samar was placed under Storm Signal No. 2.

Nona is expected to hit land in Mapanas town, Northern Samar, between 10 a.m. and noon. The Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Council was convened on Sunday afternoon to organize rescue and readiness in a possible disaster.  SFM
