Due to chronic tardiness, a state auditor was suspended by the Ombudsman for one month and one day.

In a statement, Deputy Ombudsman for the Visayas Paul Elmer Clemente ordered the suspension of State Auditor III Llane Saratan from the Commission on Audit (COA) Regional Office No. VI for Simple Misconduct.
