A total of 23 people ended up in the hospital after they were served pork adobo at a political meeting organized by Malabon Rep. Jaye Lacson-Noel on Monday night.

Dr. Emerlito Bungay of the Pagamutang Bayan ng Malabon (PBM) told the Inquirer on Tuesday that 11 adults between 21 and 57 years old and 12 children—the youngest aged 2—were treated for symptoms of food poisoning.

According to PBM information desk officer Boni Mesa, the victims started coming to the hospital around 10 p.m. on Monday, complaining of dizziness, vomiting, headache and abdominal pain.
