A total lockdown will be enforced on major roads in Metro Manila to give way to world leaders and foreign delegates who will attend Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) meetings on Wednesday.

The Highway Patrol Group, which was tapped to lead traffic management on Apec week, said the lockdown is part of the security protocol.

Starting 7 a.m., vehicles will be stopped at any time on:

*Edsa from Ayala to Mall of Asia
*Roxas Boulevard on Naia Road and Katigbak *Diokno Boulevard on Seaside Boulevard-Edsa intersection
*Macapagal Avenue on Arsenia-Buendia Extension

From 9 to 11 a.m.:

*Northbound lane of Skyway-Magallanes ramp from NAIA Terminal 3 to Edsa Arnaiz-Pasay road

From 10:30 a.m:

*NAIA Terminal 1 to NAIA road to Roxas Boulevard
