“Honestly, yes,” Aquino said when asked by CNN Asia Pacific editor Andrew Stevens if it has so far been a “frustrating fight” for him.

Recalling the challenges faced by his administration, Aquino highlighted the judicial process and how it has caused delays in the implementation of some of the administration’s projects.

“We have cases languishing for decades,” Aquino said, explaining that while the Supreme Court has a maximum of two years to decide on a case, it still depends on when the actual process starts.

“But the Supreme Court has taken action on this and tell them there is a law that you should not stop infrastructure programs,” he said.
