The Department of National Defense has earmarked P118 million for the scheduled maintenance for one of the three operational C-130 cargo planes of the Philippine Air Force.

In an invitation to bid by DND, there will be a 6th Year Structural Maintenance Program for the C-130 plane with tail number 4726.

The SMP is worth P118,338,538.67.

The budget will come from the DND/Armed Forces of the Philippines Aircraft Maintenance Fund Calendar Year 2015.

The DND Bidding and Awards Committee will hold the bid opening on Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. at the DND BAC Conference Room at Camp Aguinaldo.

The bidders should have completed within the last five years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the project.

“Delivery of the Goods and Services is required within a period of 90 calendar days upon ferry-out of aircraft,” the invitation said. CDG
