A Mass of Remembrance will be offered on Nov. 9 at 11:15 a.m. at Manila Metropolitan Cathedral in Intramuros for the souls of those who died in major calamities, wars and other tragedies that happened in November.
Some of the victims include those hit by a cyclone in India in 1996, an explosion in a storage facility in Mexico in 1984 and a landslide in Guatemala only last month.
The Mass is also dedicated to living members of the family and friends celebrating their birth anniversaries in November.
The Mass of Remembrance is sponsored by the Prayer Warriors of the Holy Souls (PWHS).
A Catholic lay apostolate of the Monfort Foundation Inc., the PWHS is committed to propagate the devotion to the holy souls in Purgatory.
