LIST: Road closures, traffic rerouting during INC peace rally on Jan. 13

Some roads in the cities of Manila and Pasay will be closed on Monday, January 13, in time for the peace rally of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) to be held at the Quirino Grandstand.

MANILA, Philippines — Some roads in the cities of Manila and Pasay will be closed on Monday, January 13, in time for the peace rally of Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) to be held at the Quirino Grandstand.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday said that the event is expected to attract one million attendees from different provinces.

The following roads will be closed on Monday from 4 a.m. onwards:

Meanwhile, motorists are advised of the following reroutes going northbound:

For private vehicles going southbound:

For trucks bound to North Harbor from SLEX (South Luzon Expressway):

Trucks going to Parañaque:

Meanwhile, Malacañang has suspended government work and classes in both cities. while the suspension of work in private offices will be at the discretion of respective companies.

The INC previously said that the rally will be an expression of support for President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s opposition to the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.
