Former and incumbent senators gathered at the Senate on Wednesday to pay tribute to the late Senator Ernesto “Boy” Herrera.
Aside from Herrera’s family and relatives, his former colleagues who attended a necrological service for the late senator included former senators Heherson Alvarez, Ernesto Maceda, and Joey Lina.
The incumbent senators present were Senate President Franklin Drilon, Sonny Angara, Gringo Honasan, Vicente “Tito” Sotto II, Loren Legarda, Cynthia Villar, and Nancy Binay.
Herrera died of cardiac arrest on October 29 at the Manila Doctors Hospital. He was 73.
