BY VIRTUE of Proclamation No. 160 signed on Aug. 16, 1999, by then President Joseph Estrada, the last week of October was declared Food Safety Awareness Week under the auspices of the Food Safety Institute Foundation Inc. in coordination with the Department of Health.
