SENATOR Miriam Defensor-Santiago will file her certificate of candidacy (COC) for president on Friday, the last day of filing of the candidate’s registration for the 2016 elections.
Santiago’s filing at the Commission on Elections was scheduled for 2 p.m.
“She will hold a press conference in the same building after,” Santiago’s office said in an advisory sent to reporters on Thursday.
Santiago earlier announced that Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. would be her running mate.
