Supporters anticipate Poe, Escudero’s filing of COCs

Supporters of Senators Grace Poe and Francis Escudero gathered outside the Commission on Elections headquarters in Intramuros, Manila ahead of their scheduled filing of certificates of candidates (COCs) this Thursday noon.

The supporters were wearing white shirts and holding placards bearing the names of the two senators.

“Kay Poe and Chiz kami,” was printed in some t-shirts of their supporters.

“Walang maiiwan #POE2016,” one of the placards read.

The supporters chanted repeatedly the names of the two as they await them to arrive at the venue.

Poe and Escudero are scheduled to file their COCs for president and vice president, respectively at 3:30 p.m. IDL
