Drug suspect killed in fight with Subic cops
CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga—-A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with policemen serving search warrants in Subic town in Zambales on Wednesday, according to a report to this Central Luzon police headquarters.
Maulay Kadya Samma, sixth on the list of suspected drug pushers in the town, fired at arresting officers as they entered his house in Barangay Calapacuan in Subic.
Police reported confiscating a shotgun, three cal. 45 pistols, a hand grenade, a rifle grenade, assorted bullets and several sachets of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride).
Nine other people were arrested for drug-related cases in the same village, police said.
