SENATORIAL hopefuls who want to join the Liberal Party slate will undergo screening.

Senator Teofisto “TG” Guingona III, one of the four individuals nominated to the LP’s senatorial ticket, said the LP is having difficulty in accommodating aspirants into the party’s senatorial slate.

“Maraming gustong pumasok. Dahil marami, hindi mo ma-accommodate lahat so kailangang timbangin kung sino ang karapat-dapat pumasok,” said Guingona after the LP’s closed-door meeting with President Benigno Aquino III and its standard-bearer Mar Roxas Wednesday morning.

In an earlier interview, Roxas also said coalitions with other parties will be expressed in the senatorial line-up.

On Monday next week, the LP will announce its final slate for the national elections in Club Filipino, San Juan City, where Aquino named Roxas as the party’s presidential bet. Julliane Love de Jesus
