NLEx traffic smooth on day of INC evangelical mission
CITY OF MALOLOS— Traffic on both lanes of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) are “fast moving” as of Saturday morning, Tollways Management Corp. (TMC) said, as road managers brace for the annual evangelical mission of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC).
Kiko Dagohoy, TMC media relations, said light traffic was recorded in both northbound and southbound areas of the NLEx near the Philippine Arena along the Bulacan towns of Bocaue and Sta. Maria, where the church will conduct its activity at 7 p.m.
Dagohoy said they deployed 160 traffic patrol officers to augment personnel from Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and the Bulacan police who are tasked to secure the area. Ron Lopez, Inquirer Central Luzon/CDG
