CEBU CITY—The police in Lapu-Lapu City failed to arrest the alleged suspects in the killing of Karen Kaye Montebon, the 17-year-old accountancy student, who was found dead by her father inside her room on Tuesday.
Senior Supt. Armando Radoc, chief of the Lapu-Lapu City police on Friday admitted that the hot pursuit conducted on Thursday didn’t yield any positive result.
Radoc said the special investigation task team conducted operation in two places—Cebu City and Bohol.

He admitted that they were hopeful that one of the subjects of their pursuit operation would show up to clear his or her name.
Radoc said he will hold a case conference on Friday morning to assess the update of their investigation. Jhunnex Napallacan/RAM
