Poe to keynote PCAM confab on addiction

Presidential contender Sen. Grace Poe will be the keynote speaker at the 11th national convention of the Philippine College of Addiction Medicine (PCAM) on Sept. 16-18 at Holiday Inn Manila Galleria, Ortigas Center, in Pasig City, said PCAM president Dr. Manuel Panopio.

Poe, chair of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs, was chosen because she and PCAM are in the forefront of the fight against drug abuse, Panopio said.

PCAM founding President Dr. Antonio M. Gauzon will introduce Poe to delegates whose theme this year is “Quality of Care in Addiction.”
