Cloudy—possible rain—over Metro, parts Luzon, says Pagasa
Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and isolated thunderstorms will prevail in Metro Manila, parts of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau said.
An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The ITCZ is a breeding ground for potential cyclones or low pressure areas.
“Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Western Visayas and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms,” Pagasa said.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the northeast to the southeast will prevail over Luzon and from the southwest to west over the rest of the country.
The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. Frances Mangosing
