/ 01:20 AM September 03, 2015

An unidentified woman was found dead near a garbage pile the other day in Malabon City. According to the police report, a passerby found the victim described as about 20 to 25 years old, of light build and at least 4’ 7” in height.

She was dressed in a brown shirt, a brown pair of shorts and white slippers. She was found around 5:30 a.m. on Roque Street in Barangay Tugatog, with a single gunshot wound in the head.

Police learned from residents in the area that they heard a gun being fired once at 5:05 a.m. on Tuesday. Found beside the victim’s body were three sachets containing what was believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu.”

Renato Camara, a former barangay official, identified the victim as an alleged drug pusher in Barangay Catmon. The police said they were still looking for clues to the woman’s identity as well as that of her killers. Rafael L. Antonio
