CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — A Land Transportation Office (LTO) enforcer was shot and killed by a colleague after they engaged in a fistfight here on Tuesday, police said.

Reports said LTO enforcers Elisereo Magsael Jr., who is assigned in Bulacan, and Stanlee Ferrer from Tarlac were at a gasoline station in Barangay San Isidro, City of San Fernando when they started fighting at around 7:30 a.m.

Police said Magsael pulled out a gun and shot Ferrer, who died from a bullet wound in the chest.

Witnesses said Magsael fled toward Angeles City.

Jorge Mamba, LTO assistant regional director in Central Luzon, said LTO officials were not aware of any misunderstanding between the two enforcers. Justine Dizon, Inquirer Central Luzon
