Strikes prompt Qantas to cancel more flights

/ 05:16 PM October 06, 2011

SYDNEY—Qantas Airways ground workers have canceled a planned strike that threw the travel plans of thousands into chaos — but Qantas says dozens of flights will still be canceled or delayed.

The Australian Licenced Aircraft Engineers Association still plans to continue with its strike on Friday.
