MANILA, Philippines—Former state auditor Heidi Mendoza is reflecting on President Benigno Aquino III’s reported offer of a high position for her on the Commission on Audit, a spokesman said Friday.
According to Fr. Bert Alejo, Mendoza heard about the offer only in the news. No official communication from the President’s office has reached her, he said.
“Let’s give Heidi time to reflect,” he added.
