Suspected pusher nabbed, P1.2M worth of shabu seized in Dumaguete

DUMAGUETE CITY –Police arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized more than P1 million  worth of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) in a buy-bust operation in this capital city on Thursday night.

 
Walter Cielo Arbas, 42, was collared after he sold four packs to an undercover policeman who posed to be a buyer about 9:35 p.m. on Sta. Catalina Street, Dumaguete.

 
The shabu weighed about 20 grams with a street value of P236,000.

 
The police later recovered 80 grams of shabu from the suspect with a street value of P994,000.

 
Also recovered from Arbas were a .38-caliber revolver with five live ammunitions, a mobile phone and a Honda Wave 100 motorcycle.
