At least 2 dead as bus crashes into QC-Caloocan boundary marker

A Valisno Express bus crashed onto the marker in the boundary of Quezon City and Caloocan City which resulted in the death of three people.

An accident involving a bus in Quezon City resulted in the death of two persons and left at least 16 passengers injured.

A San Jose del Monte City-bound Valisno Express bus with plate number TXV 715 crashed into the arch marking the boundary of Quezon City and Caloocan City at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, which cut the bus in half.

According to a Radyo Inquirer report, two persons died on the site after they were hit by the debris from the arch.

SPO1 Ferdinand Pasglinawan told Radyo Inquirer that 16 injured passengers were rushed to the Tala Hospital, where two passengers are also in critical condition.

The identities of the fatalities are yet to be determined by authorities.

The driver of the bus fled the scene while its conductor, identified as Ferdinand Dacusan, was also brought to the Tala Hospital.
