Binay: Roxas’ endorsement will highlight our difference

CITY OF IMUS, Cavite – Vice President Jejomar Binay said the official proclamation of Interior Secretary Mar Roxas as the standard bearer of the administration’s Liberal Party will only “highlight” their difference in terms of experience, governance, and public service.
The LP proclamation today also put an end to the party’s “pahele-hele” (playing coy) and drama about Roxas’ candidacy, Binay told reporters here.
Binay was in this city on Friday while President Aquino made the announcement of Roxas’ official endorsement at the historic Club Filipino.
From here, Binay is scheduled to visit Dasmariñas City and later the town of Silang to meet with village officials to discuss “barangay anti-disaster programs.”
