2 teen motorcycle riders dead in Pangasinan road accident

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines –Two teenagers died while their companion was hurt when their motorcycle hit a sport utility vehicle (SUV) in Asingan, Pangasinan,on Sunday morning, police said.

Police said the motorcycle, driven by Ryan Vincent Sison, 17, swerved to the opposite lane and was hit by a Ford Everest in Barangay Domampot, some 40 kilometers from this city.

Sison, a resident of Urdaneta City, died instantly while one of his passengers, Manilyn Abellenida, 16, died while being taken to a hospital. Another passenger, Leon Aquino, was taken to a hospital in Urdaneta City.

Police said the Ford Everest, a service vehicle of Pangasinan Board Member Ranjit Shahani, was driven by Ramon Torralba, 55, and had a passenger, identified as Rogelio Cuyo, 38.
