Iglesia ni Cristo to ‘reveal truth in proper forum’
Amid the controversies surrounding Iglesia ni Cristo, the influential church said it would answer the allegations against them in the proper forum.
“Merong tamang lugar at tamang paraan nang sa ganoon ay mailabas at mapatunayan ang katotohanan,” Edwil Zabala, INC spokesperson, told INQUIRER.net in a phone interview on Saturday.
Zabala said filing charges against Iglesia’s accusers was among the options they were considering.
However, he was quick to say that the organization did not have definite plans.
He said INC was busy holding its Unity Games International here in Manila to cap its centennial celebration.
On Monday, July 27, INC will celebrate its 101st anniversary.

Isaias Samson, who also claimed that he was held hostage for a week by INC inside his home, said he was expelled from their church because of his expose of its irregular use of funds.
Samson’s revelations came after Cristina “Tenny” Villanueva Manalo, widow of the late INC executive minister Eraño Manalo, and son Felix Nathaniel “Angel” Villanueva Manalo posted a video on YouTube asking for help.
INC, however, has denied these claims.
“May tamang paraan at tamang panahon. Doon kami patungo,” Zabala said.
What is important now, according to him, is for them to fulfill their responsibilities for their church’s 101st anniversary.
Though he did not divulge the whereabouts of Eduardo Manalo, INC’s executive minister, Zabala said he would lead their celebration on Sunday as part of Unity Games International.
The alleged feud in the Manalo family was exposed after Tenny, Eduardo’s mother, and brother Angel were declared expelled from INC.
