Amid political noise, Grace Poe says she needs to think, pray

Senator Grace Poe is making herself scarce from the media to “think” and “pray.”

“Kailangan ko muna mag-isip at magdasal (I need to think and pray),” Poe said in a text message Tuesday.

Some reporters noticed that the neophyte senator, who used to be accessible to the media, would now seldom answer questions on politics. She also begged off to attend a weekly forum at the Senate scheduled every Thursday.

Poe, who first ran and topped the senate race in 2013, has taken over Vice President Jejomar Binay in the last presidential preference surveys.

But unlike Binay, the senator has yet to decide whether or not to run for president in 2016. IDL
