5-vehicle pile-up sets up heavy traffic along C5 Kalayaan

A five-vehicle collision along C5-Kalayaan on Saturday resulted in heavy traffic in the area.

Emma Lorista of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the incident occurred on the northbound lane of C5-Kalayaan at 1:20 p.m.

Lorista said the incident involved a sedan, two sports utility vehicles (SUV), an Asian utility vehicle (AUV), and a trailer truck.

She said no one was hurt in the incident and the vehicles had only minor damages.

She said the collision area was already cleared as of 2:02 p.m. Police are still investigating what caused the pileup, she said. IDL
