7 Cebu fishermen missing, 7 vessels cancel trips

CEBU CITY—Seven Cebu fishermen were reported missing since Thursday night.

Their pump boat left Isla de Gigantes and was believed to have capsized between Madridejos town in Bantayan Island and Panay in western Visayas.

The Coast Guard in Central Visayas has advised vessels in the area to look out for any sign of the missing fishermen and to provide necessary assistance.
