‘Improve system to monitor bridges’
THE monitoring system of the two bridges connecting Mactan and Mandaue Cities have to be improved.
Several concerns were raised during yesterday’s meeting of the Mactan Cebu Bridge Management Board.
For one, security cameras don’t capture clear images.
Four spotlights don’t give enough illumination to the subjects in focus and the video library and recording system lacks two disks.
It was also pointed out that the software used has no proof of authenticity and the second phase of the systems training has yet to be conducted.
The Integrated Security and Automation (ISA), the firm that installed the monitoring system, said it already addressed the concern on the cameras and installed two more spotlights on each of the two bridges.
