Taguig jeep terminal attack kills 1; 3 kids hurt
A 59-year-old jeepney terminal dispatcher was killed and three minors were wounded in a shooting incident in Taguig City early Thursday.
City police chief, Senior Supt. Arthur Felix Asis, identified the fatality as Donato Regalado Fegueroa.
Wounded were Angela Jenna Portuguez, 11; Azel Bolima, 9; and Ranz Pailma, 12.
Asis said the three minors were rushed to the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital after the incident.
According to Asis, Fegueroa was calling out to jeepney passengers at a waiting station in Barangay Bagumbayan when a man approached the victim and shot him several times.
Witnesses told police they heard three shots, but in the absence of an autopsy report, it was unclear how many hit Fegueroa and three minors who were in the area at the time of the incident.

Asis added that they still had to check out a closed circuit television camera mounted on an electric post nearby for clues.
According to the initial report, the motive behind the killing could be for personal reasons or could also be drug-related.
Asis said, however, that while it had been established that Fegueroa had enemies, the drug angle had yet to be confirmed.
