Undecided De Lima ‘humbled’ by Facebook fans

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said she found the “teamleila De Lima” Facebook account “very humbling” although she maintained that she is still undecided on whether or not to run in 2016.

“I will check it out. That [Facebook] account is very humbling,” De Lima told reporters.

She said it is still very difficult to decide because it will be a major decision on her part.

“If at all, I would favorably consider running, just be in the name of public service, I need to really convince myself. It has to be my own decision so that if ever there will be regret later, I will just be blaming myself,” she said.

“Whether my decisions are correct or not, it is mine and therefore I stand by my decision,” she added.

De Lima is reportedly part of the senatorial lineup of the Liberal Party.

The Justice Chief, however, said there is still no formal talk about it and that she is still consulting her family and friends. IDL
