Thunderstorm warning issued over Metro, nearby provinces

The state weather bureau issued a thunderstorm advisory over Metro Manila and nearby provinces on Tuesday afternoon.

The public was warned of intense to torrential rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flash floods.

“Thunderstorm is affecting Bataan (Morong), Rizal (Antipolo), Nueva Ecija (Laur), Bulacan (Norzagaray), portion of Metro Manila, Cavite, Batangas, Quezon, Zambales which may persist within 2 hours,” said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration at 12:50 p.m.

Thunderstorm is expected over other areas of Bataan, Rizal, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan in the next two hours.
