MARK Jeffery Baello and Emmanuel Auman both came up with double-double performances to lead their respective teams to victories last Saturday in the 2011 Powerade E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.
Baello scored 14 points and grabbed 19 rebounds in the Eperformax Reds’ 91-57 thumping of the hapless Kyocera Frontiers, while Auman tallied 16 points and 10 boards in leading the Convergys Wolves to an 88-59 conquest of the Xlibris Publishers.
Baello was one of the four players who scored in double figures for the Reds, who nailed their ninth win in 14 games.
Joel Nebria fired a game-high 27 points, Floyd Singco scattered 18 points, while Raymond Dennis Tan submitted 16 markers.
Auman, meanwhile, got plenty of help as the Wolves had four player finishing in twin digits in their 11th victory in 13 games, tying the Teletech Titans at second place of the team standings.
The Calltek Trojans snatched their ninth win in 13 games with a default win over the Wipro Wildcats (4-10). /EDITORIAL ASSISTANT CALVIN D. CORDOVA
