A trough of a low pressure area affecting Northern Luzon will bring cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms in Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan Group of Islands, and the province of Ilocos Norte, the state weather bureau said on Friday afternoon.

For Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening will be experienced, Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to southeast over the rest of the country.
