Palace cites Cojuangco’s professionalism, dedication to service
Malacañang on Tuesday expressed sympathies to the family of Tarlac Representative Enrique Cojuangco, who succumbed to aneurysm on Tuesday morning.
“We convey our deepest condolences to his bereaved family. Representative Cojuangco served for two terms and was known and admired for his professionalism and dedication to public service,” Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. said in a statement.
Cojuangco, who was president of the Nationalist People’s Coalition and chairperson of the House economic affairs committee, is an uncle of President Benigno Aquino III.
He was on his second term as Representative for the 1st district of Tarlac. TVJ
