SINGAPORE — It’s a video that makes the skin crawl.

Since being posted on Monday afternoon, a clip on Facebook of cockroaches swarming onto a corridor has been viewed more than 300,000 times and shared more than 5,000 times.

Facebook user Nur’Ashikin Fazlan Zainol also shared in the comments thread below the post that a cockroach nearly crawled into her son’s ear before he fell asleep.

She wrote: “My family and I cannot tahan (stand) these anymore..My mom was a cancer patient, all of us are trying very hard to keep the place clean. We have 2 growing children..14 and 2.5yrs.. Its a very unhealthy environment.

“Just last night a roach nearly climbed into my son’s ear when he was about to sleep.. And we found a few baby roaches around my baby girls’ toy box..”

She added that this has been going on for a long time, and the stench from the house is unbearable.

She continued to write: “All kinds of insects and wateverelse comes out from their house.. Flying, crawling around into my house.”
