All Globe Asiatique transactions aboveboard – Delfin Lee
ALL transactions involving Globe Asiatique are aboveboard and approved by the Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG), detained real estate developer Delfin Lee said in a statement Monday.
Lee said he has proof that as early as 2010, his firm has discovered 400 defaulting accounts and called on Pag-IBIG’s attention.
He also said only 199 borrowers out of 9,951 have actually filed a complaint against him and his firm in exchange for promises that they would not be ejected by Pag-IBIG and would not be required to pay while the cases were pending.
Lee also pointed out that even Pag-Ibig Fund President and CEO Darlene Berberabe herself said at a hearing before the Senate that she owes no money to the country’s housing program.
Lee was supposed to testify before the Senate but was not allowed by the Pampanga Regional Trial Court.
