Another DLTB bus involved in accident

Following a road mishap that killed five people, another bus from the same company was involved in an accident on Saturday morning, a radio report said.

At around 6 a.m., a Manila-bound DLTB passenger bus, with plate number TYZ 145, careened and turned on its side along Quirino Highway, near the boundary of Tigkawayan, Quezon, according to dzMM.

Quoting the Quezon Highway Patrol Group, the report said the bus driver Ismael Tiera was driving fast and lost control.

The accident caused heavy traffic in the area although there were no reported damages.

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said the incident will be included in their report after they issued a 30-day suspension order on 15 DLTB buses. Alyssa Marie A. Jacinto, INQUIRER.net trainee/KS
