MILO SBP FINALS TODAY

THE SACRED Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles take on the University of San Carlos (USC) North Baby Warriors in the finals of the Small Basketeers of the Philippines division of the Milo-backed Best Tournament today at the University of Southern Philippines Foundation gym in Lahug.

The Magis Eagles aim for their second straight crown in the SBP and the right to represent Cebu in the Visayas finals, where the best from Bacolod and Iloilo City await.

The defending champions overcame USC South, 50-36, while USC North cruised to a 60-40 win over Cebu Eastern College (CEC) in their Final Four matchups to set the stage for the finals.

Expected to lead the way for the Magis Eagles are John Chen and Blas Bautista, who combined to score more than half of the team’s output in their last game.  Correspondent Jonas Panerio
