‘Chedeng’ dissipates to LPA, all storm signals lifted in PH
From being a tropical depression, “Chedeng” (international name: Maysak) has been downgraded into a Low Pressure Area (LPA), the state weather bureau said Sunday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. update, the center of the LPA was located in the vicinity of Kabugao, Apayao or 60 kilometers southeast of Laoag City.
Since “Chedeng” has been downgraded into a low pressure area, all storm signals have been lifted in the country.
However, the state weather bureau said that “fisherfolks and small seacrafts are alerted against moderate to rough sea conditions over the seaboards of Northern Luzon.”
Chedeng entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility around midnight on Thursday and made landfall in Isabela province on Sunday morning. DL
