Mosque worker killed in Zamboanga Sibugay

A man working at the newly constructed Mosque in Ipil, Zaboanga Sibugay was shot to death early Thursday morning.

Based on a report of the Regional Police Office 9, the victim was identified as Jolito Fuentes, 39, a resident of Barangay Sta. Maria, Pagadian City.

The victim’s brother-in-law, Jesus Apardo, 30 said he and his live-in partner were sleeping inside the Mosque when they heard a gun shot outside.

They immediately went out and found the victim with a gunshot wound at the left side of his face.
