The fire that gutted an informal settlers’ area in Parañaque City on Saturday is now under control.
According to FO1 Amy Percal, the blaze that hit several houses in Barangay BF at 12:55 p.m. was placed under control at 3:18 p.m.
Some 200 families were affected by the fire that hit more or less 100 houses, destroying property worth around P1.5 million, said Percal.
Firemen are still trying to put out the blaze in the area.
No one was so far reported injured. RC
